About Us

OUHSC Provost, Dr. Joseph J. Ferretti conceptualized an on-site employee wellness program that would enable faculty and staff to participate in health-enhancing activities while here on campus. For the last several years, Healthy Sooners has been an active worklife initiative.

The intent of Healthy Sooners is to foster lifestyle choices which support good and improved health among our employees by providing health and wellness opportunities.

Activities range from health promotion and educational programs to physical fitness classes. The program is currently administered by the University Health Club which can be reached by phone at 271-1650.
